Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson will not start training camp on the field as he recovers from last year's surgery to repair a torn ACL.

McCarthy Comments on Nelson's Status Tuesday, July 26 Packers head coach Mike McCarthy told reporters on Tuesday morning that "Nelson has a workout program [and there] are no long-term concerns," according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein.
Nelson on the Physically Unable to Perform List Monday, July 25 Rob Demovsky of ESPN reported Green Bay placed Nelson on the physically unable to perform list Monday, with the team's first practice slated for Tuesday.
ESPN's Ed Werder reported the Packers "won't rush" Nelson, who may not be a full participant in practice for two weeks.
