Josh Doctson Injury: Updates on Redskins WR’s Achilles and Return

Washington Redskins wide receiver Josh Doctson has a lingering Achilles injury, which he suffered in May, that has forced him out of the lineup. It is unclear when he will be able to return.

Doctson Out vs. Browns Friday, Sept. 30  The Redskins announced Doctson will not play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 4.
Doctson told John Keim of ESPN.com "it's definitely a frustrating injury" and that it could be a continuing issue:
I was told when it occurred that it would be a frustrating process and frustrating year. ... We had a few doctors I flew to see, and they said the same thing -- that it's definitely something that will be recurring or could happen throughout the year just through activity. You need a longer time span for it to just cool out. Obviously, I don't have that time right now. In the offseason, it should be a done deal. But as of right now, it will be recurring.
