Josh Doctson Injury: Updates on Redskins WR’s Achilles and Return

Washington Redskins rookie wide receiver Josh Doctson is dealing with a sore Achilles tendon, according to Dianna Marie Russini of ESPN.

Doctson Not Expected to Miss Much More Time Wednesday, August 3 Sources indicated to Russini that Doctson would miss no more than two weeks with the injury. Doctson has not participated in any of the team's offseason activities since May 31 and continues to wear a walking boot as he recovers from Achilles tendinitis, per Brian McNally of CBS DC.
McNally wrote: "A team spokesman insisted on Wednesday that the walking boot doesn’t represent a setback. True enough. He’s been wearing the boot for a while now. But it’s not progress, either. And that’s what Doctson is waiting for."
