Kansas City Chiefs: Too Much Trauma to Play Sunday Against Carolina Panthers

Football is just a game and sometimes, we need to be reminded of that.
Saturday morning, Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher shot and killed his girlfriend before driving to the team facility. He thanked general manager Scott Pioli and coach Romeo Crennel before taking his life in the parking lot.
While the Chiefs are still scheduled to play Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, it doesn’t seem like the right call.
According to the Wichita Eagle, Belcher confronted Kasandra Perkins after she returned from a concert at 1 a.m.
The report also says that the couple had argued frequently in their three-year relationship.
Maybe this led to the murder-suicide, but who knows what went through Belcher’s mind. We may never know.
As for Sunday's game, it might be hard for Belcher 's teammates to keep their mind on a game when they lost one of their own.
Then you have to worry about Crennel, who was one of the team employees talking to Belcher...
