Kenny Britt’s Surgery Curbs Enthusiasm for the Titans’ Season

I've wanted to get on the Titans bandwagon for months now, but they can't seem to catch a break.
News that Kenny Britt has had his knee scoped doesn't sink the season for Tennessee, but it's not the kind of report anyone wants the week before training camps open around the league.
Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported it was Britt's left knee that went under the scope. He's already recovering from torn ACL and MCLs in his right knee in an injury he suffered in the third game of the 2011 season.
Players have knees scoped all the time, and were this in March or February, it would be thought of as a routine procedure.
It may still be.
But when it comes to a player as important as Britt, the news is unsettling at best.
