Kevin Kolb Played His Cards Right With Michael Vick

The 2010 season isn't going to rank as one of Kevin Kolb's favorites.
The 26-year-old quarterback spent much of the season on the sidelines. He watched as Michael Vick went from from being a scorned superstar sitting in prison to league hero taking snaps that originally had belonged to him.
Of course, if you only based things on what Kolb said in public, you would never know that he was unhappy. The Texas native said and did all of the right things. He publicly showed support for Vick and his teammates. He went to practice and stayed ready just in case his number got called by head coach Andy Reid.
By doing everything right, Kolb has increased the chance that the 2011 season should be a much better one for himself. General managers and head coaches from around the league took notice and are more than willing to give him a chance in a different city.
It's a welcome sight to see.
