New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson could be hitting the open market, as the team isn't expected to offer the restricted free agent a new contract, according to Mike Triplett of ESPN.com.

Robinson Won't Be Tendered, But Open to Return Friday, March 4 Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate clarified the team won’t offer Robinson an RFA qualifying offer—or tender—but said that he’d be open to rejoining the Saints. 
A tender is a one-year deal at a rate set by the 2011 collective bargaining agreement. In this case, it would’ve likely been a right-of-first-refusal qualifying offer of $1.671 million, per Katherine Terrell of the Times-Picayune.
