Atlanta Falcons fans should mark a certain upcoming Summer day on their calendars, especially if they have youngsters.
On June 1, Strikes 4 Kids will partner with the Atlanta Falcons to host a charity bowling event at 300 Bowling in Atlanta, which will give fans a chance to get up close and personal with Falcons players.
One of the city's most colorful sports personalities, safety Thomas DeCoud, will host the event, along with teammates Jason Snelling, William Moore, Peyton Thompson, Robert McClain and Dominique Franks, as well as former Falcon Brent Grimes.
All proceeds from the bowling session, which will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. ET, will go towards the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which grants special wishes for children who are dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
Strikes 4 Kids is a non-profit organization, founded by Joseph Allen of Elk Grove, CA., that coordinates golf and bowling events that bring together players and fans.
