Knile Davis Injury: Updates on Chiefs RB’s Knee and Return

Kansas City Chiefs running back Knile Davis departed Saturday's preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals with a knee sprain, according to KCChiefs.com's BJ Kissel.

Davis Won't Miss Much Action Saturday, August 15 According to the Kansas City Star's Vahe Gregorian, Davis is only expected to miss a few days with the knee sprain. 
A nice change-of-pace complement behind starter Jamaal Charles, Davis racked up 463 yards and six scores during the 2014 season. 
And if he's able to stay healthy after recovering from Saturday's scare, he could be in line for a bigger workload. 
According to the Associated Press' Dave Skretta, offensive coordinator Doug Pederson has discussed giving Davis a few more carries in order to keep Charles fresh throughout the upcoming season.
