Lawrence Tynes Injury Update: New York Giants Kicker Inactive For Week 6

Lawrence Tynes sprained the ankle on his non-kicking leg during mid-week practices, and as a result the New York Giants will be without their primary place kicker for their Week 6 meeting with the Detroit Lions.

The Giants will turn their kicking duties over to Shayne Graham, the former Cincinnati Bengals kicker. The team signed Graham after Tynes came up lame in practice.

Tynes had still been considered a possibility for today's game, but he's officially inactive, so fantasy owners should prepare accordingly if Tynes is your kicker.
