Lions’ Calvin Johnson Looking to Become 7th-Fastest Player to 600 Receptions

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson needs nine catches in Sunday's game against the New York Jets to become the seventh-fastest player in NFL history to reach 600 career receptions, per Stats LLC on Twitter.
Heading into the contest with 591 catches through 109 games, Johnson is listed as questionable due to an ankle injury, but he will likely be able to play.
The 6'5" wideout has a long history of playing through nagging issues, as he's a frequent visitor to the injury report, yet he has only missed six games through the first seven-plus seasons of his career.
Johnson is off to his typical fast start this year, with his 19 receptions for 329 yards and two touchdowns through three games putting him on pace for a 101-1, 755-11 receiving line.
