Malcom Floyd Injury Update: San Diego Chargers Wide Receiver Out

One of Philip Rivers' preferred targets in the passing game, wide receiver Malcom Floyd, is out for this week's big game against the New England Patriots as he deals with a hamstring injury.

Floyd also missed the team's loss to the St. Louis Rams last week, and there is an expectation that he'll miss the Chargers' next game, as well.

This is bad news for San Diego's passing game, as they've dealt with a myriad of injuries while also coping with number one receiver Vincent Jackson's season-long contract hold out.

Floyd had become a big target for Philip Rivers, so a receiver like Patrick Crayton stands to get more targets in the passing game with him out for Week 7.
