Mangini/Pennington Reunion Possible In Cleveland

With the official start of free agency less than 48 hours away, one of the more interesting names the Cleveland Browns will consider is former Miami Dolphins quarterback Chad Pennington.
It is no secret the Browns are looking to upgrade the quarterback position.
In 2009, Browns quarterbacks combined to finish last in completion percentage. Bringing in the NFL’s all-time leader in that very statistic would go a long way toward improving the offensive and getting their much maligned passing attack back on track.
An unrestricted free agent, Pennington will be free to sign with any team come this Friday.
By all accounts, Pennington is an excellent leader who has been praised for his intelligence and impeccable work ethic. He has been described as a coach on and off the field—the perfect mentor for a young, developing quarterback.
