Matt Flynn Rumors: Browns Need to Act Fast to Acquire Packers’ Backup QB

One game was all it took to make Packers' backup quarterback Matt Flynn arguably the second most desired signal-caller this offseason. With that said, the Browns, who are reportedly interested in him, better get going on signing him before the frenzy begins.
In a way, Peyton Manning and Flynn are joined at the hip this offseason. Manning was released by the Colts earlier this week and Flynn was not given the franchise tag by the Packers, making him a free agent.
The Browns are reeling after losing out to the Redskins for the trade that would have given them the No. 2 overall pick and the perceived rights to draft Robert Griffin III at April's NFL draft.
The next option for Cleveland would be to acquire Flynn, who played in one game last season. The Browns are reportedly interested in the Packers' backup quarterback.
