Matt Flynn to Patriots: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

Veteran backup quarterback Matt Flynn has signed with the New England Patriots, according to the team's website. 
According to Mike Reiss of ESPN, it will be a one-year deal.
Flynn is entering his eighth year in the NFL after his most recent stint with the Green Bay Packers. After originally being drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of 2008, Flynn signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012 and made stops in Oakland and Buffalo before his return to Wisconsin. 
Appearing in 51 games and starting seven, Flynn is 219-of-357 for 2,541 yards in his career. His finest moment came in Week 17 of the 2011 season against the Detroit Lions, where he set franchise records—which have since been tied by Aaron Rodgers—with 480 yards passing and six touchdowns.
According to Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald, he will be the backup to Jimmy Garoppolo after the Patriots released Garrett Gilbert.
