Miami Dolphins: Can They Contend in the 2011 NFL Season?

After a huge turnaround a few seasons ago, the Miami Dolphins have been the epitome of mediocre. Chad Henne is not a great quarterback and he has had few offensive weapons to work with.
They had the No. 6 ranked defense in the league last year and have made strides to continue to improve it. Last year, adding Karlos Dansby was huge, as he continues to be one of the most underrated defensive players in the league. Kevin Burnett was also a great addition to play beside Dansby.
Koa Misi and Jared Odrick were draft picks last year that should contribute in big ways. Cameron Wake has emerged as one of the best sack artists in the league. Sean Smith, Vontae Davis, Kendall Langford and Randy Starks are all very solid defensive players as well. Count on them to have a top-three defense this season and hopefully carry them to a playoff birth.
