Miami Dolphins Finally Have Some News To Savour: Dan Henning Leaves Team

After the turbulent week in Miami, which has seen owner Stephen Ross throw Tony Sparano to the wolves, only to later salvage what was left of his head coach and allow him to continue in Miami, there is finally some good news for Dolphans.
Dan Henning is gone.
The man who was all too culpable for Miami’s lackluster and boring offense all last season is finally leaving the Dolphins.
Head coach Tony Sparano, who somehow managed to hold onto his own job despite a week which saw Ross approach several potential replacements, spoke with Henning on Thursday, and it was agreed that Henning would leave Miami.
Henning was seen by most fans to be the villain in the piece this year in Miami; his play-calling verged from dull and boring, to outright bizarre.
Now, Miami will begin the search for Henning’s replacement (Bill Musgrave anyone?). However, following last year’s offensive debacle, it begs the question: surely anyone is an upgrade?
