Miami Dolphins’ Kendall Langford Loses $50,000 Earring During Practice

Several Miami Dolphins were crawling across the field after practice Tuesday—not because of exhaustion, but because they were looking for a $56,000 diamond earring.
Defensive end Kendall Langford forgot to remove his earrings before practice, and then lost one during a training drill.
Around nine of his teammates helped out. Some were on hands and knees, while others used rakes to comb through the turf. Unfortunately the team had a lot of ground to cover as they practice on two fields.
Langford was thankful for the help, saying, "I've got a great group of guys out here helping me—family-type guys."
He declined to say how much the 2.5 carat earring cost but one jewellery distributor said it was worth around $56,000.
Teammate Ryan Baker helped Kendall and said, "He's a teammate. That's what you do. It's a fat diamond. It's a shame."
