Miami Dolphins Work Out Cornerbacks Frank Walker, Matterral Richardson

Following the recent ankle injury to cornerback Evan Oglesby and Will Allen's slowed recovery from a torn ACL, the Miami Dolphins worked out free-agent cornerbacks Frank Walker and Matterral Richardson on Wednesday.

A sixth-round pick by the New York Giants in 2003, Walker played four seasons with the Giants, one in Green Bay, and spent the past two years in Baltimore.

The 29-year-old Walker has appeared in 82 games (15 starts) in six pro seasons, totaling 134 tackles, three forced fumbles, three interceptions, and 20 pass deflections.

Recently drafted by the UFL's Omaha Nighthawks, Walker has expressed a desire to remain in the NFL, but has received scant interest this offseason.

Walker's most recent employer—the Baltimore Ravens—weren't very happy with his recent play, and have yet to express interest in a reunion despite significant injuries to a handful of their current cornerbacks.
