Micah Hyde Injury: Updates on Packers Safety’s Hip and Return

Hyde Ruled Out for Game Saturday, Jan. 16 The team announced Hyde has been ruled out after originally being considered questionable to return to the field.
In his third season out of Iowa, Hyde set a career high in solo tackles (51) but hasn't performed as well as expected. Pro Football Focus ranked him 43rd among safeties during the regular season, noting his strength against the run and disconcerting struggles on passing downs. That ranking is keeping with his previous performance, as Hyde ranked 65th in the same rankings a year ago.
For the most part, Hyde has stayed healthy in his NFL career. He's suffered occasional bumps and bruises, including a preseason neck injury, but has played in all 48 games since entering the league.
