Michael Oher Injury: Updates on Panthers LT’s Concussion and Return

Carolina Panthers left tackle Michael Oher will not play in the team's Week 4 game against the Atlanta Falcons after suffering a concussion.

What Oher's Injury Means for Panthers Friday, Sept. 30 According to ESPN.com's David Newton, Oher is in the concussion protocol, and he will not be available to play Sunday.
Per Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, Oher first reported having concussion-like symptoms Friday.
Oher protected quarterback Cam Newton's blindside effectively in 2015 en route to an NFC championship, so it's safe to say he emerged as one of the anchors on Carolina's offensive line during that fruitful run.  
"There's a toughness about him that permeates throughout the rest of the guys," head coach Ron Rivera said of Oher, per Newton. "The hard thing about playing the position he plays, if you give up one sack everybody thinks you had a bad day. Sometimes it's not fair. Sometimes it's not his fault. So...
