Monday Night Football Odds: Dallas Cowboys Favored by 3 Against New York Giants

The 1-4 Dallas Cowboys are in desperate need of a win when they host division rival the New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The 4-2 Giants are currently tied with Philadelphia for first in the NFC East while Dallas is bringing up the rear.
Dallas is trying to avoid its worst six-game start since 1989, when the team began the season 0-8 and finished 1-15.
A team considered to be a Super Bowl contender heading into the season is also trying to hang on to faint playoff hopes. Since 1990, only five of 97 teams that started 1-4 went on to make the playoffs.
Getting things turned around this week will be no easy task for Dallas, as it goes up against the NFC’s best defense. Also, New York swept the season series last year.
