Ndamukong Suh Fined By NFL For Hit On Jake Delhomme: Was It Enough?

The NFL has fined Ndamukong Suh $7,500 for his vicious hit and takedown of Jake Delhomme in a preseason game.
Not only is this fine not enough, but Suh should be suspended as well.
I understand fans and coaches want their players to be aggressive, but this aggression needs to be contained.
Football is a violent and aggressive sport, but there was no need for Suh to treat Delhomme like a rag doll and throw him to the ground.
The NFL fines players $5,000 for uniform violations and recently fined Ochocinco for tweeting during a game.
It is ridiculous to think Ochocinco was fined more than three times the amount of Suh for sending out a 140 character message.
Suh could have seriously injured Delhomme, and is barely being fined more money than a player who wears the wrong color cleats.
Don’t get me wrong. I understand football is a violent and aggressive sport, but there is a line between being aggressive and being malicious.
