New Orleans Saints Favored To Beat the Minnesota Vikings Thursday Night

The Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints are set to kick off the 2010 NFL season this Thursday night, as New Orleans looks to begin their title defense against the team they beat in the NFC Championship game.
The game will be played at New Orleans, as the Saints are set to receive their Super Bowl rings from last year. The game can be seen nationwide on NBC.  The NFL spreads currently have the Saints as five point favorites over the Vikings, with the total sitting at 48 points. 
 
Game Preview
It was another long drawn-out offseason with talks of whether or not Brett Favre would come back for another season, but Favre is back in a Vikings' uniform as expected.
Favre comes in with a bit of an injury concern, as he has expressed concern on whether or not his ankle will be able to withstand the duration of the season. Then again, we are talking about a guy who is entering his 20th season and has not missed a start.
