New York Giants: Big Blue Cut Veteran LB Michael Boley

The New York Giants made their first roster move for 2013.
The Giants defense will be letting go of one of their starting linebackers.
Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star Ledger reported on Wednesday that the Giants have cut ties with veteran linebacker Michael Boley.

Boley originally signed a five-year deal worth $25 million before the 2009 season and spent the last four seasons with the team.
The 30-year-old linebacker had 92 total tackles in 2012, with three interceptions and four pass deflections.
Boley's playing time dwindled at the end of the season, as he didn't start in five of the 16 games for the Giants, mostly due to nagging injuries.
Linebacker is one of the positions that the Giants need to address for 2013, either in the draft or in free agency.
