Why the Giants can cover the spread
New York started 0-6 this season but is playing much better. The Giants fell behind Dallas Sunday 21-6 but rallied to tie the game before losing on a field goal at the buzzer. At 4-7, New York is on life support, as far as the playoffs are concerned.
But QB Eli Manning isn't turning the ball over like he was earlier in the season, and the defense ranks 12th overall and seventh vs. the run.
