The New York Jets are the villains of the NFL. This is a team that plays a physical brand of football on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
Head coach Rex Ryan has been famous for unleashing a wrath of words about his opponents since the day he was hired as the head coach of the New York Football Jets.
Tomorrow's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers will be similar to a heavyweight fight. The Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Jets have many similarities on the field. Both teams have a similar brand of football that relies on defense and a balanced offense.
Both teams also have another thing in common as well. The Jets star wide receiver Santonio Holmes was acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers this past off season. The Pittsburgh Steelers became weary of the off the field issues with Santonio Holmes and traded him for a fifth-round draft pick. The trade between the two teams may have been one of the most underrated moves this off-season.
