NFL Celebrity Owners: Would Bon Jovi Be More ‘Bad Medicine’ for the League?

Jon Bon Jovi is looking into buying approximately 15 percent of the Atlanta Falcons for around $150 million.
That would make this the latest NFL franchise to officially begin a celebrity owner ring, thus joining the Miami Dolphins as the second laughingstock of the league. 

In case you cannot tell, I am not a strong proponent of this: not for the Falcons or the NFL, and it has nothing at all to do with Bon Jovi. I, like so many people, grew up a fan of his songs. But this is different. This is about the football. This is about the Falcons.

The Dolphins have many celebrity minority owners. That is why many people forget that Stephen Ross is the majority owner and has controlling interest in the Miami Dolphins. He is a very intelligent businessman who has succeeded in many things in life.
But allowing such celebrities as Serena and Venus Williams, Gloria Estefan, Fergie, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony to buy into the franchise has not gone well.
