Arizona's Brooks Reed May be on Radar for Cleveland Browns
The Cleveland Browns need pass rushers and players to place on the defensive line, that's a given. The only question they have to answer is which lineman they want to draft to fill those positions.
One player whose name is starting to be tossed around is Arizona OLB Brooks Reed, who would fit very well in the Browns' 4-3 defense. They need a pass rusher, and with his comparisons to Clay Matthews he's definitely a guy to grab.
Had this been tossed around a month or so ago, this would have been an ideal situation, since the Browns could have gotten him in the second round. Now, it look more likely that Reed will be off the board by the time the Browns use their second draft pick.
This is a case where a trade with the Patriots may be beneficial. There has been talk of grabbing the Patriots' 17th and 28th overall selections, and the Browns would be able to use the latter on Reed while addressing a different need...
