Atlanta Falcons Draft: The offensive needs some more explosiveness:
The Atlanta Falcons relied heavily on wide receiver Roddy White to come up with big plays in 2010. He needs help with that in 2011 and beyond to make Atlanta's offense more dangerous.
Most of the focus on fixing this problem has been around the draft. Names such as Torrey Smith, Jerrel Jernigan and even A.J. Green have been mentioned in connection with Atlanta draft hopes. But there is another route that Atlanta can go once a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is reached: free agency.
The name drawing attention in potential free agency is Santonio Holmes, reports Tim Kavanagh of ESPN.com. Of course, Holmes becoming a free agent can only happen if the Jets withdraw the Restricted Free Agent tender the placed on him prior to the lockout or a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is reached that nullifies the tender.
