Baltimore Ravens Could Draft Top Interior Lineman Mike Pouncey
The Baltimore Ravens seem to have a lot of similar players on their radar as the Pittsburgh Steelers do. Part of this is due to similar needs, but some of them are still very surprising. One particularly surprising move is that the Ravens may be considering Mike Pouncey.
Yes, the same Mike Pouncey whose twin brother plays for the Steelers. While this sounds surprising, it may fit better than expected. Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun notes this as an option due to the declining Matt Birk:
"The Ravens need to start looking to the future at center, where 34-year-old Matt Birk is entering the final year of his contract. Pouncey showed he can handle one-on-one matchups with big bodies, battling Alabama’s Marcell Dareus."
