NFL Draft 2011: New Orleans Saints News, Rumors and Predictions

It wasn't a long fall but it was hard when New Orleans followed up its Super Bowl-winning run with a Wild Card berth and first-round loss in the playoffs in 2010.
Drew Brees was erratic. The defense suffered rushing the quarterback. Free agency now threatens to raid the depth chart. The ongoing collective bargaining negotiations hasn't made things easier. Without a CBA, the Saints can't sign any players back.
Until then, all they have is the draft. With four picks in the first three rounds (two in the third) and then none until two in the seventh, the Saints will have to be frugal to make a large impact on their roster.
