NFL: Estranged Titans QB Vince Young Apologizes to Head Coach Jeff Fisher

The drama surrounding Titans head coach Jeff Fisher and QB Vince Young has evolved once again.
The feud started with an injury to Young and a disputed sidelining due to the injury, and led to the quarterback tossing his pads into the stands and walking out on his coach Sunday. It continued Monday with Young, who has been placed on injured reserve, being asked to leave the Titans team facility. Now, in a further development, Young has apparently apologized to Fisher via text message.
While this may look like an attempt to rebuild the relationship, it really speaks to the continued immaturity of Young. "I’m not a real big text guy,” Fisher said. “I’m not really into this new age stuff. I don’t twit or tweet. But I think face-to-face is a man thing, OK?" Fisher is right, this is definitely a situation that should be resolved in person, or at least in a phone call.
