NFL Free Agency: Who Needs Who More, Michael Huff or the Dallas Cowboys?

The Dallas Cowboys had their share of problems over the season, from losing star quarterback Tony Romo to having one of the worst secondaries in the NFL. The lockout might be the worst thing that has happened to the Cowboys thus far.

With their many glaring needs, free agency was going to be a big deal for this team and a way to immediately upgrade some positions. One of those positions is safety. They had first-year starter Alan Ball who barely made any impact on the defense.
Michael Huff just so happens to be available and the connection with Dallas seems like a match made in heaven.

Huff is a Texas boy. He played his high school ball there and he had a very successful career at the University of Texas. He was a Jim Thorpe Award winner and he was a member of their national championship team that beat the USC Trojans. He was then selected seventh overall by the Oakland Raiders in the 2006 NFL Draft.
