NFL Game Picks: Seattle Seahawks Sneak Past the Runless Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos host the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon. According to the NFL odds, they have set a line of Denver -3 over Seattle with a total set of 40.5 points.
Seattle put together one of the biggest upsets last week. They beat the San Francisco 49ers, a team that many picked to win the NFC West. But if they want to prove they are for real they’ll have to go on the road to a hostile atmosphere and win again in Week 2.
The Denver Broncos will be trying to avoid going 0-2 for the first time in more than a decade. They’ll have their hands full with a Seattle team that won 31-6 over San Francisco with QB Matt Hasselbeck accounting for three touchdowns.
But it was the Seahawks defense’ that stole the show. They limited the 49ers to just 1-of-15 on third downs and picking Alex Smith off twice.
