NFL Mock Draft 2011: Jets Upgrade Defensive Line with Muhammed Wilkerson

Last season, the Jets' defense was as disappointing as any unit in the entire league -- registering just 28 total sacks to go with 12 interceptions.  So with the 30th overall selection in the draft, gang green will be extremely careful in deciding who to take with their first-round selection.
For the time being, Rex Ryan and the Jets should turn their attention towards Temple's massive defensive tackle Muhammed Wilkerson; who has the potential to take Sione Pouha's starting role right out of gates in 2011.
The 6'4'', 312-pound Wilkerson has seen his draft stock rise swiftly over the past few weeks, mostly due to his effective Combine showing where he posted a 4.96 40-yard dash and yielded 27 bench reps.
If the Jets are serious about getting to the Super Bowl in the next few seasons, they'll need to key in on Wilkerson's talents by possibly moving up in the draft.  Rest assured, Wilkerson is an absolute force worthy of starting on Rex Ryan's defensive front.
