NFL News and Rumors: Can’t We Just Have Football Next Season, Mr. Goodell?

In a sport that has taken the nation by storm over the years and developed into America's most popular sport, the fanbase would hate to see it go, but is that what's ultimately going to happen?
Today, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and his team met up with the NFLPA Executive Director Demaurice Smith along with his crew. Goodell arrived to the meeting almost an hour ahead of schedule.
Finally, the NFL fanbase will see what happens after all of the mayhem and deliberating as the deadline will be met when the clock strokes midnight. Or the deadline could even be extended if need be.
The problem right now is that no big moves are being made—no one is stepping up to the plate and trying to make something happen out there.
