NFL Odds: Denver Broncos Big Underdogs Heading To San Diego To Face the Chargers

The San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos are all set to do battle on Monday Night Football in what could be a wild AFC West shootout.
San Diego’s Philip Rivers and Denver’s Kyle Orton are the two top gunslingers in the league this year, and they’ll have their guns-a-blazin’ Monday night. NFL odds makers have listed the Chargers as a 9.5-point favorite with the total set at 50.5.
Rivers leads the NFL with 2,944 passing yards. Orton is second with 2,806. Both players figure to have a shot at Dan Marino’s 1984 single-season record of 5,084 passing yards.
The Chargers have put a three-game losing streak behind them with back-to-back wins over Tennessee and Houston. Despite their slow start, the 4-5 Chargers sit just one game before Kansas City and Oakland in the AFC West. But if they are going to win a fifth-straight division title, they must start winning some division games.
