NFL Odds List Carolina Panthers As 2.5-Point Favorites Over Arizona Cardinals

It could come down to which quarterback makes fewer mistakes when the Arizona Cardinals (4-9) head east to take on the Carolina Panthers (1-12) Sunday.
If last week is any indicator, Arizona rookie quarterback John Skelton gives his team the advantage.
NFL oddsmakers, however, expect Carolina to defend its home field. They have listed the Panthers as 2.5-point favorites with the total set at 37.5.
Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt said he is planning to stick with Skelton even if Derek Anderson is cleared to return following a concussion.
“I think we’ll stick with what our plan all along has been,” Whisenhunt said, “and that’s to play the best player, the player that gives us the best chance to win. I think right now that’s John Skelton.”
With Anderson and Max Hall out with injuries, Skelton got his shot against Denver and helped the Cardinals post a 43-13 victory.
