NFL Playoff Picture: The Atlanta Falcons Are Not a Lock for a First Round Bye
Despite the Atlanta Falcons league leading 12-2 record, they're by no means a lock to walk away with home field advantage and a first round bye in the playoffs.
The Falcons will be up against the New Orleans Saints in a colossal showdown between the two NFC South division rivals.
Atlanta beat the Saints in New Orleans in Week 3 by a mere three points, but anything can happen come Monday night.
The Falcons are arguably the hottest team in the NFL on an eight game winning streak. They're also undefeated at home, so they have that going for them in this showdown.
The Saints are probably still reeling from their loss to the Baltimore Ravens and they will be gunning for the Falcons all night long.
Right now, it appears as if the road to the Super Bowl will go through Atlanta.
