NFL Playoff Scenarios: The Oakland Raiders Can Still Win the AFC West
The Oakland Raiders big win over the Denver Broncos keeps not only their playoff hopes alive, but hopes of snatching the AFC West crown this season.
Despite the Raiders 7-7 record, they have the number of all their division rivals in the AFC West.
Oakland is a perfect 5-0 against teams in the AFC West and should they somehow manage to find themselves in a tie at the top of the division, they will be vaulted into the playoffs.
Of course, evening their record at the top of the division won't be easy with a matchup against the Indianapolis Colts looming this Sunday. However, should they pull off the big upset and then beat the Kansas City Chiefs the following week, the Oakland Raiders will be back in the playoffs after a long drought.
