1. (1) New York Jets (8-2)
The 5-5 Titans have nearly the same season point differential as the Jets, but Rex Ryan's bunch is 8-2 because they know how to come up big when it matters most.

2. (2) New England Patriots (8-2)
The Patriots just won a huge game over the Colts, but now have only three days to prepare for a Thanksgiving contest in Detroit, with an enormous showdown against the Jets looming on Dec. 6.
3. (3) Atlanta Falcons (8-2)
Coming off a huge victory over the Ravens, the Falcons could've suffered a letdown against the Rams, who have been tough at home this year, but Atlanta overcame a sluggish start to easily dispatch of St. Louis.
4. (4) Baltimore Ravens (7-3)
The Ravens' defense had more touchdowns in the fourth quarter than the Panthers' offense had in the entire game.
5. (5) New Orleans Saints (7-3)
Drew Brees has six consecutive games with multiple touchdown passes.
