NFL Trade Rumors: Why Brandon Lloyd Could Help Playoff Contenders

With the NFL Trade Deadline dwindling down to the final hours, Brandon Lloyd is the best wide receiver on the trading block. If a team is looking to make a move, Lloyd could be the guy that puts the offense over the hump.
Any team should jump at the opportunity to get Lloyd, who has some of the best hands in the NFL. He caught 77 balls for 1,448 yards and 11 TDs in 2010.
Lloyd has had an up-and-down career. He has proven that he can excel if put in the right position.
Tennessee Titans, Carolina Panthers and St. Louis Rams could all be destinations for the 30-year-old ninth year receiver.
The Titans make the most sense to me. With Kenny Britt out with a torn ACL, the offense needs to have more weapons than Nate Washington. They are currently lacking a true No. 1 receiver and Lloyd is the only thing close to that on the block.
