When the 2012 NFL season starts on Sunday, it will mark the beginning of several illustrious careers for some of the top rookies in this year's class.
With the growing impact of rookies in the NFL, several key newcomers could make or break their teams' playoff chances this season. The rookies that usually have the biggest impact are the offensive players.
Here are some of the key offensive rookies to keep an eye on in Sunday's games:
 
Andrew Luck
Going against the Chicago Bears and their top-tier defense, the NFL debut for Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck may not be too pleasant. But if he plays like he did in the preseason, it could be a whole other story.
Luck threw for an impressive 522 yards and three touchdowns in the preseason, and looked more than comfortable as a starting quarterback in the NFL.
