Coming off an upset loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, the New England Patriots will be looking for a bounce-back effort this weekend as they take on the Texans in Houston as just modest road favorites on the opening NFL Week 14 lines at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark.
The Patriots opened as just 3.5-point favorites for their Sunday night matchup against the Texans, after they fell 35-28 at home to the Eagles over the weekend as eight-point favorites. New England was also a small road favorite the previous week at Denver, losing that game 30-24 as 2.5-point chalk. After starting the season 10-0 straight-up, the Patriots are now 10-2 SU and just 5-4-3 against the spread heading into Week 14.
