NFL Week 15 Preview: Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings

With the Metrodome damaged, the Minnesota Vikings (5-8) will have to play their home finale against the Chicago Bears (9-4) at the TCF Bank Stadium on the University of Minnesota campus. The change in venue could prove costly.
After the Metrodome roof caved in due to heavy snowfall, the Vikings were forced to play their Week 14 contest with the New York Giants in Detroit on Monday. The Vikes fell 21-3 as Brett Favre saw his NFL-record streak of 297 consecutive starts come to an end.
This week the Vikings are expected to play their first outdoor home game in 29 years. That, however, doesn’t expect to play in their favor. With temperatures expected to drop into the single digits, the Bears could have the advantage. After all, they have won 10 consecutive outdoor games in December and January when facing teams which play in a dome or hail from warm-weather cities.
