NFL Week 4 Game Previews: Philadelphia Eagles at Jacksonville Jaguars

The 1-1 Philadelphia Eagles are all set to do battle with the 1-1 Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Field in a Week 3 non-conference clash. The big news this week is that Philadelphia quarterback Michael Vick has earned the starting job, and NFL odds makers believe Vick will lead Philly to victory. They have listed the Eagles as a 3-point favorite with the total set at 45.

Last week Vick made his first start since 2006, leading the Eagles to a 35-32 win over Detroit. He completed 21 of 34 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns, and added 37 more yards on the ground. In relief of Kevin Kolb in Week 1, Vick completed 16 of 24 passes for 175 yards and a score.

Kolb’s concussion could end up being the break Vick needed. He currently has the fourth-highest quarterback rating in the NFL (105.5), and his 7.8 yards per rushing attempt lead the entire league.
