NFL Week 5 Odds: Colts By More Than a Touchdown Over the Chiefs

Prior to the season, who would have thought that the Kansas City Chiefs, not the Indianapolis Colts, would be the unbeaten team heading into their Week 5 AFC showdown?
Following a bye week, the Chiefs will look to remain undefeated against an Indianapolis team that endured its second loss of the season Sunday at Jacksonville. NFL odds makers don’t see Kansas City making it out of Indy without a blemish, listing the Colts as an eight-point favorite with the total set at 44.5.
Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis offense has been as good as ever. The Colts rank second in the league in scoring, averaging 29.3 points per game. They also rank third in total offense, racking up 411.0 yards per game.
Manning is having another MVP-caliber season. He ranks first in quarterback rating (112.2) and touchdown passes (11), and second in passing yards (1,365).
