NFL Week 6 Picks: Detroit Lions vs. New York Giants Prediction

Both of these teams are coming off strong showings in Week 5, withe the Detroit Lions posting a huge 44-6 win over the St. Louis Rams, and the New York Giants shutting down the high-powered Houston Texans and running out of Houston with a 34-10 win under their belts.

They'll meet in the New Meadowlands with the Giants faced with the possibility of a letdown game against an inferior opponent, and the Lions looking to pull off a road upset for their first road win in almost exactly 3 years.

The Lions have had a great year passing the ball even with starting quarterback Matthew Stafford missing action since Week 1, and quarterback Shaun Hill has emerged as a solid fill-in. However, the Lions will be facing a daunting pass rush that has dominated quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Matt Schaub in consecutive weeks, while also shutting down rushers Matt Forte and Arian Foster.

The Giants defense could be due for a bit of a slow down game, but if Lions receiver Calvin Johnson...
