NFL’s Best Scenario: Vikings Cut Favre, Packers Pick Him Up

Now that former Viking coach Brad Childress has been fired, the question remains in Vikingland and the NFL—what to do with Favre?
For most national sports writers the answer is easy—the Vikings should cut him.  As a Packer fan and long-time skeptic of Favre, I certainly hope the Vikings do just that. 
Draft positions count and as long as Favre is at the helm in Minnesota, the Vikings will continue to lose and inch closer to getting a top five draft pick and a QB of the future. 
I can't imagine Favre hanging up his cleats if cut this year.  Currently, he is a failure and after 20+ years in the league with all kinds of records, Favre only has one Super Bowl ring to show for his accomplishments—and he can thank Reggie White for that.  He can't quit at the bottom.
Several coaches in the league would be willing to put on a pair of Wranglers and try to talk Favre into joining their club, especially when Favre is vulnera...
